Dear Applicant:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division, and it was
found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed
before review can continue:
Sign Area:
1.The maximum allowed total sign area for the building site is one square foot
per lineal foot of wall containing the main public entrance. Your plans indicate the wall
containing the main public entrance as being 32 feet, which would yield a maximum total
allowed sign area for the site of 32 square feet. The existing wall sign for “Glazed and
Amazed” is 13.89 square feet and the existing projecting sign is 1.1 square feet, which
equals a total existing sign area of 14.99 square feet. Thus, the remaining allowable sign
area for the site is 17.01 square feet, and the proposed sign will need to be reduced in size
in order to comply with this requirement.
Design Review Fee:
2.A $115 design review fee is required for review of signs. Please note
that this fee will be added to the total due prior to permit issuance.
