Dear Kevin,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can sign off on
the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written response:
1. Sign Area: According ECDC 20.60.030.A, the maximum area for a wall sign in the General
Commercial (CG) zone is 1 square foot per lineal foot of attached wall. The site plan shows that
the width of the tenant space is 20 feet but the size of the sign is proposed to be 24 square feet.
Please revise the size of the sign to comply with the maximum square foot requirement.

You may redline your existing plans or submit three copies of your updated plans. Please make all
submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
