Dear Mr. and Mrs. Billings:
I have reviewed your resubmittal dated July 6, 2011 for the above building permit application for the
Planning Division, and it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need
to be addressed before review can continue:
Building Plans
1.: Thank you for submitting a revised floor plan indicating the expanded addition
and for indicating the new width of the addition on your site plan. Since all plans on file for your
building permit application must be consistent, please revise the building plans as necessary to
reflect the current proposal for the addition (i.e. indicate the actual width of the addition, make any
changes to the roofline, doors or windows as shown, etc.). You do not need to draw new elevation
views as long as you can clearly indicate these changes on the current plans by redlining the plans
with the proposed changes.
Shed
2.: A shed is now shown on your site plan. Please indicate if this shed is existing or proposed.
If proposed, please provide setback and height information.
Lot Coverage
3.: Since the size of the addition has increased and a shed is now being indicated on
your site plan, the lot coverage calculations need to be revised to indicate the total footprint of all
existing and proposed structures on the site.
Height Calculations
4.: The elevation of the peak of the addition was previously indicated on your
plans as 113.25’ (relative to datum of 97.25’). Although the location of the height rectangle
utilized for the height calculations will not change with the expansion of the addition, it is unclear if
the expansion of the addition will cause any changes to the proposed height. Please indicate the
proposed height to the peak of the addition on both the site plan and the building elevations.
All of the above items may be redlined on the plans that we have on file with your application. If you are
submitting revised plan sheets, please provide two copies of all large documents (over 11” by 17”) and
one copy of any reduced documents (11” by 17” or smaller). All submittals should be made to a
Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. If
