Dear Tracie,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can sign off on
the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written response:
1. Pole Sign Area: Please identify and label the square footage of each component part of the pole
sign and then provide a total area for the pole sign.
2. Wall Sign: On resubmittal, please update the square footage of the wall sign from 129.9 to 61.6
square feet. I had redlined that change on the first set of plans.
3. Time of Illumination: According to ECDC 20.60.020.1-1, no commercial sign shall be
illuminated after 11:00 pm, except that signage may remain lit as long as the business is open.
Please make sure that there is a manual switch or some type of timer designed in the signage in
order to comply with this requirement.

You may redline your existing plans or submit three copies of your updated plans. Please make all
submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
