Dear Mr. Echelbarger,
I have again reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I
can sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written
response:
1. Height calculations: Enclosed is a redlined height rectangle for the project — it
encloses all those structures with roofs like the front porch and lattice -covered area,
minus overhangs. On Sheet A-1, please recalculate and label the corner elevations
based on an updated site plan matching the redline provided. If any of the corner
elevations change, please update the associated height calculations. On Sheet A-5,
show the lines of average grade, maximum height (25' above average grade), and the
actual height on the proposed addition. For reference, see Handout B41

You may either redline the existing plans or submit two copies of any revised plan sheets. Please
make all submittals to a Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. If
