Dear Mr. Echelbarger,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written
response:
1. Deduced site plan: Please provide a reduced size copy of the site plan (A1). Add the
shed that is toward the eastern edge of the property.
2. Datum point: Please show the datum point used for the height calculations on the site
plan, including its elevation (actual or assumed).
3. Structural lot coverage: Please update the structural lot coverage calculations to
include not only the house, addition, porches and deck, but also the shed.
4. Height calculations: On the site plan, please label the corners used as part of the
height calculation. Be sure to include the front porch. If any of the corner elevations
change, please update the associated height calculations and show the updated lines of
average grade, maximum height, and actual height on the elevation drawings (A5).
You may either redline the existing plans or submit two copies of any revised plan sheets. Please
make all submittals to a Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. If
