Dear Kozo,
I have again reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written
response:
1. Height rectangle: Please revise the height rectangle to include the overhanging structures
on the north and west elevations. If this change results in different height calculations,
please update those on both Sheet A1.1 and any affected elevation sheets.
2. Critical area buffer and setback: Please update Sheet A1.1 to show the steep slope buffer
and setback (20' + 15') recommended by Geospectrum in their April 16 report.
3. Additional tree removal: I spoke with Rob Michel on June 20 and he indicated that the
project arborist identified additional trees to be removed from the site as part of the
redevelopment process. Please update the Grading & TESC Plan to indicate which trees or
redline the existing sheet.

Please submit three copies of the updated site plan (one being reduced size of 11 x17 or
smaller) and two sets of any updated sheets of the building plans. Please make all submittals to
