Dear Mr. Lindeke,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written
response:
1. Color elevations: I saw in the permit file that color renderings of the proposed
exterior improvements are forthcoming —thanks.
2. Existing Dayton Street bench: Is the existing bus stop bench part of this project?
Please consider its location within the Dayton Street right-of-way relative to the
proposed improvements.
3. BD-1 Design Standards: Due to the site's location within the BD-1 zone, the design
standards for that zone apply. Specifically, ECDC 22.43.050 requires transparency at
street level. Please verify whether the windows selected for the project meet the
standards in ECDC 22.43.050.B.2 and B.4.

Please submit three copies of your updated site plan (one being reduced size of 11 x17 or
smaller) and two sets of any updated sheets of the building plans. Please make all
submittals to a Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. If you
