12-0611 Plan Review Comments.pdf th C ITY OF E DMONDS• 1215 A VENUE N ORTH•E DMONDS,WA98020 P HONE: 425.771.0220 • F AX: 425.771.0221 • W EB:www.edmondswa.gov D EVELOPMENT S ERVICES D EPARTMENT: P LANNING•E NGINEERING •B UILDING August 31, 2012 Mr. Gary Tobiason Email: garyt@keepclam.com RE: PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS FOR PLAN CHECK #BLD20120611 IVAR’S DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE, LOCATED AT 9910 EDMONDS WAY Dear Mr. Tobiason: We have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning and Engineering Divisions, and it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue: 1.Site Plan: Please revise your site plan to indicate all existing features within the southwestern portion of the site in the vicinity of the dumpster enclosure, such as landscaping, parking, drive aisles, etc. When showing these features, please also include indication of any features that are proposed to be removed/relocated in order to accommodate for the expansion of the existing dumpster enclosure. Note that all items indicated on the site plan must be drawn to scale. 2.Dumpster Enclosure Dimensions: The inside dimensions of the proposed dumpster enclosure are indicated on the building plan as 23 feet by 10 feet, while the enclosure indicated on the site plan scales out at approximately 30 feet by approximately 12 feet. Please correct all plans as necessary so that the proposed dimensions of the enclosure as well as its location on the site are accurately shown. Note that the dimensions indicated on the site plan must be the exterior dimensions of the enclosure, not the inside dimensions as shown on the building plan. 3.Access: The location of the proposed dumpster enclosure as shown on the site plan would prohibit vehicular access across the southwestern corner of the site. When revising the site plan to address the above comments, please also indicate how vehicular access will continue to be provided across the southwestern corner of the site. 4.Elevation View: Please provide an elevation view of the front of the proposed dumpster enclosure, indicating the proposed materials and colors of the enclosure, including those materials proposed for the gates. Please submit three copies of your revised site plan and two copies of all revised building plan sheets to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
