RE: PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS FOR PLAN CHECK # 2012-0894 & 0895
CARPORT DEMO AT 7824 AND NEW SFR AT 7822 240TH ST SW
Dear Mr. Borgeson,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written
response and through the submittal of updated plans:
BLD-2012-0894 — Carport demo
1. Extent of demo: Is the entire carport to be removed?
2. Lot 1 features: Please show all structures on Lot 1 including all existing fences, sheds
and similar structures.
BLD-2012-0895 — New SFR
3. Trees: On the plot plan, show all trees that currently exist on the subject lot at 7822
240th St. If the trees are to be retained, indicate how they will be protected during
development in accordance with ECDC 18.45.050. If they are to be removed, note
that on the plan.
4. Fences: On the plot plan, show all existing or proposed fences on the parcel.
5. Garage, front and rear decks on building plans: A garage and northern and southern
decks are shown on the site plan but do not appear on the associated building plan
sheets. Please revise the building plans and elevation drawings to include these
features.
6. 2"d Floor space: Is the 2nd floor of the house being left unfinished? If improvements
are anticipated, please show those on the building plans.

Please submit three copies of your updated site plan (one being reduced size of 11 x17 or
smaller) and two sets of any updated sheets of the building plans. Please make all
