Ali individual inspectors to be employed on this project will be WABO ce$ified for the type of work they are to
inspoct, If inspection ís for work that is not covered by the IVABO categories, or the inspector is not IiVABO
certified, a detailcd resume of the inspeotor and firm rnust be submitted. Thc rssume must show that the inspector
and the {irm are qualified by education and experience to perform the work and testing required by the'project
desigrr and specifications.
The work shall bo inspectod for conformance with the plans ancl specilications approved by the City, Revisions
and addenda sheets will not be used for inspection, unlëss they have been apprcved by the City, Inspaoticn
records shall include:
r A daily record to be maintained on site, itemizing the inspections performed. Any nonconforming work
shall be brought to the immediate attention of the mntractor for resolution.
¡ A weekly report shall be submittecl to the City; detailing the inspections and tosting performed, listing any
nonconforming work and ¡esolution of nonoonforming items.
. A finalreport shall bç submitted to the building department prior to the Ccrtificate of Occupancy boing
issued. This report will indicate that inspoction and testing was completed in oonfurmance witlt the
approved plans, specificatio¡rs and approved revisions or addsnda. Any unresolved discrepancies must be
detailed in the final report.

Contractp$
The contractor shall provide the speclal inspeotor or agency adequate notiftcation ofwork requiring inspection.
The Cíty approved plan and specifications must be madc available, atthejobsite for the use of the special
inspector and the City inspector. The contractor shall maintain all deily inspection reporfs) on site, for review by
all paties.
The speciat inspection fbnctions are considered fo be in addition 1o the nomral inspections perfotmed by the Cþ
ancl the contractor is responsible for coffacting the City to schedule regular lnspections. No concrete shall be
poured or othêr work covered until approval is given by the Ctty inspector.
Buildlnq.pelrartmenf :
The building department shall rsview any revisions and addenda. The Cify inspector will monitor the speoial
iuspeotion firnctions for compliance with the agreement and the approved plans. The City inspeelor shall be
responsible for approving various stages ofoonshuction to be oovêred and for work to ptoceed.
Desiun Profe¡sionalsr
The architect and/or engineer will clearly intiicate on the plans and specifications the specific types of speoíal
inspection required and shall include a schedule for inspection and testing. The architect and/or engineer will
coordinate their revision and addenda process in such a way as to ênsure that all required Cify approvals are
obtained, plior to work show¡r on the revisions being performed in the field.
OwJrer:
The project owner, or the architect or engineer acting as the owners agent, shall employ the speoial inspeotor or
âgency.

A failure of the special inspector or firm to perform ln keepingwith the requirëments of the IBC, the approvetl
plans and this document, may void this agreement md the Building Official's approval of the special inspector,

design and/or construction parties to pedorm in accordance with this agreement may result in a STOP V/ORK
notice being posted on the project until nonconformlng items been
