Hi Scott,
I have reviewed the above building permit revision for the Planning Division. Before I can sign
off on the revision, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written
response and through the submission of updated plans:
1. Wall height in setback: The new wall will be partially located in the north side setback.
Please show the elevation of the top of the wall at a point in that setback area along
with the elevation of original grade at that point. The top of the retaining wall cannot
be greater than 3' in height over original grade when located in a required setback.
2. Vegetation management plan: It appears that the proposed retaining wall will replace
some or all of an existing rockery shown on the Vegetation Management Plan
associated with the short plat (PLN20120016). If that is the case, the rockery will need
to be removed or redlined off the vegetation plan. At the same time, please verify
whether the wall will impact other portions of the vegetation plan — if so, those
changes will also need to be noted on the plan.

Please submit three copies of your updated site plan (one being reduced size of 8 x 11) and
two sets of any updated sheets of the building plans. Please.make all submittals to a Permit
Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8 am to 12 pm only on
