Dear Mr. Chen,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written
response and on plans with changes called out:
1. Height: On the site plan, you've shown height corner elevations which would yield an
'average original grade' of 94.5' (95' is shown on the site plan) along with an 'actual'
height of 110', and a 'maximum' of 110'. Please update the site plan to show an
'average original grade' of 94.5' and a 'maximum' of 119.5' (94.5 + 25). Also, please
update the elevation drawing with the building plans to show the lines of average
original grade (94.5), the actual height proposed for the addition (110), and the
maximum allowed height (119.5).

Please submit three copies of your updated site plan (at least one being a reduced size of 8
x 11) and two sets of any updated sheets of the building plans. Please make all submittals
to a Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8:00 am to 12:00 pm
