Dear Applicant:
I have reviewed your May 29, 2014 resubmittal for the above building permit applicationfor the Planning Division,
and it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressedbefore
review can continue:
SignDetail:
1.The 5/22/14 comment regarding the sign detail has been addressed.
Sign Area:
2.As stated in staff’s 5/22/14 comment letter, the maximum allowed sign area for the site is
equivalentto one square foot per lineal foot of wall containing the main public entrance. Additionally, the
maximum allowed area per proposed sign is equivalent to one square foot per lineal foot of wall. It appears
that the proposed signs will comply with these requirements; however, additional documentation must be
provided in order to confirm compliance. Please respond to the following regarding the proposed sign area:
a.5/22/14 Comment:Clearly indicate the locations of the two proposed signs on yoursite plan.
6/4/14 Comment:Addressed.
b.5/22/14 Comment:Indicate the exterior building dimensions on your site plan(including all walls facing
the southern and western property lines). It may be helpful to use a larger scale site plan in order to
clearly identify the dimensions.
6/4/14 Comment:Thank you for providing a site plan indicating dimensions of all exterior walls of
the building. However, upon review of these dimensions against aerialphotographs and against
the site plan from the associated tenant improvement permit, it was noted that the dimensions
provided on all building facades are significantly different than the actual dimensions.These
discrepancies range from approximately 6 to 28 feet. Please re-measure the exterior walls of the
building and provide accurate building dimensions on the site plan.
Sign Illumination:
3.The 5/22/14 commentsregarding sign illumination havebeen addressed.
Please submit threecopies of your revisedplan sheetsto a Development Services Permit Coordinator. Our office
