Dear Ms. Dopp,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can sign
off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written response
and on plans with changes called out:
1. Datum point and elevation: On the Site Plan, please show the datum point used for the
height calculations and its elevation, actual or assumed.
2. BSBLs, Scale, setback to front porch: The BSBI.s shown on the east, south and north do
not scale to 7.5', 15' and 25' as would be appropriate for the RS -8 lot. The plan shows a
scale of 1":20' but it comes out at about 1":19'. Please revise. Also, please indicate the
setback to the front porch.
3. South patio: The shape and location of the south patio is different on the Site Plan and on
Sheet A3. Please verify and revise as appropriate.
4. Lot area: The lot area shown on the Site Plan is 9,603 sf while the preliminary plat shows
9,602 sf. Please verify and revise as appropriate.

Please submit three copies of your updated site plan (one being reduced size of 11 x 17 or
smaller) and two sets of any updated sheets of the building plans. Please make all submittals to
a Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8:00 am to 12:00 pm only
