SIGN PERMIT AT 22111 HIGHWAY 99
Dear Mr. Weiss,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, the following information needs to be clarified in a written response and
through the submission of updated plans:
1. Area of signs: Using the total maximum area requirements for the CG zone in ECDC
20.60.025.A.2, the subject site has up to a maximum of 200 square feet of signage
available. Please show how the areas of the one existing and two proposed signs are
below this maximum requirement. For the wall signs, calculate the square footage of
each channel letter separately and add that to the tag line cabinet area. The
freestanding sign appears to be a little more than 48 square feet.
According to ECDC 20.60.0201, the reader board portion of the existing freestanding
sign is nonconforming in the CG zone but the sign face may be maintained per ECDC
17.40.040 and ECDC 20.60.010.0.

Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through
