Before I can sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written response and through submittal of updated plans: 1. Zoning: Please update the zoning designation on Sheet C1 from RS -10 to RS -12. 2. Datum point: On Sheet C1, please label which permanent monument was chosen as the datum point for the height calculations for the building. 3. Rockeries: On Sheets C1— C3, please show and label the short and tall rockeries described in the associated geotech report dated August 29, 2014. Also, since some grading is proposed north of the house, add to Sheet C2 the geotechnical recommendation from the report which states: "No fill is [to be] placed above existing grade within 10 feet of the short rockery." 4. Lines of elevation: On Sheet Al or A2, please show and label the lines of average original grade, maximum allowed height, and proposed height of the structure. 5. Garage encroachment: On the site plan (Cl), the main structure and projections are shown to meet the required RS -12 setbacks or exceptions (patio, eaves). However, it appears that a corner of the garage wall may actually encroach into the south street setback (Sheet A4). Please verify and revise as appropriate. Please submit three copies of your updated site plan and two sets of any updated sheets of the building plans.
