I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division, and it was
found that the following informationis neededbefore review can continue:

Please amend the geotechnical assessment dated March 13, 2015 to address thespecific
report requirements for landslide hazard areas and design criteria in the Edmonds
Community Development Code (ECDC)23.80.050 through 23.80.070.The geotechnical
assessment provides recommendations on setbacks to thetoe of theslope and foundation
recommendations. The assessment will also need toacknowledge those standards in the
above cited sections to permit the buffer reduction to the steep slope and any other applicable
standards to permit the addition to take place.
Please Note: Additional comments from the Building Division and Engineering Division
may require changes to the site plan or building plans.Any revisionsshould be completed
once you have received comments from the other reviewing divisions.
Please submit three copies of amended geotechnical assessmentto a Development Services
Permit Coordinator. Our office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between
8:00am and 4:30pm, and Wednesdays between 8:00am and noon. If you have any questions,
