SITE IMPROVEMENTS/LANDSCAPING AT 624 EDMONDS WAY
Dear Mr. Redelfs,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, the following information needs to be clarified in a written response and
through submittal of updated plans with changes called out:
1. Design review required: The proposed landscaping changes require design review by
staff in accordance with Chapters 20.10 and 20.11 of the Edmonds Community
Development Code (ECDC). A $225 design review fee will be added to the permit.
2. Site plan: Add the parcel's zoning and driveway easement recording numbers to Sheet
AS -1. The parcel is zoned Neighborhood Business (BN) with a contract (R-3-81).
3. Improvements in the driveway easement: The plan sheets show improvements within
the driveway access easement area. Provide copies of the easements and verify that
these improvements are allowed in this area.
4. Approval of owner to north: Please provide signed documentation from the owner of
618 Edmonds Way indicating that they are aware of the project's encroachment into
the access easement area and that they approve of the changes.

Please submit three copies of your updated site plan and two sets of any updated sheets of
the building plans. Please make all submittals to a Permit Coordinator, Monday through
Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (closed Wednesdays for permit intake). If you have any
