Dear Mr. Bolin,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, the following information needs to be clarified in a cover letter and
through the submittal of updated reports or plans with changes called out:
1. Scope of work: Please clarify the scope of work that is to be permitted and show the
extent of that work on the Partial Topographic Survey.
2. Geotech report: The information from Dennis Bruce dated July 27, 2015 does not
meet the criteria for a geotechnical report as required by the Edmonds Community
Development Code (ECDC). The report must review the criteria for development in or
near geological hazards identified in ECDC 23.80.060 and .070, and must contain the
elements listed ECDC 23.80.050 and 23.40.090.D. The report may be subject to
independent review according to ECDC 23.40.090.13, as required.

Please submit three copies of the updated site plan and two sets of any updated sheets of
the building plans. Please make all submittals to a Permit Coordinator, Monday through
Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (closed Wednesday for permit intake). If you have any
