Before I can sign off on the permit, the following information needs to be clarified in a written response and through submittal of updated plans: Geotechnical report: There is a steep slope to the south of the proposed addition that is classified as a potential landslide hazard area which has a regularly required 50' minimum buffer in addition to a 15' building setback. It appears that the proposed addition will be located within 65' of the slope. Please verify. If the project will occur within this area, submit a geotechnical report prepared in accordance with ECDC 23.80.050 and 23.40.090 that describes the addition and related site work relative to the standards in ECDC 23.80.060 and 23.80.070. Please submit three copies of your updated site plan and two sets of any updated sheets of the building plans.
