DECK AT 18906 OLYMPIC VIEW DRIVE
Dear Mr. Mann,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, the following information needs to be clarified in a written response and
through submittal of updated plans:
1. Plot plan: There is a 20' access and utility easement on the north edge of the subject
parcel as shown in the enclosed survey. Please update the plot plan accordingly.
2. Setbacks: The parcel is considered to be a corner lot with a 25' street setback from
the east property line and north access easement and 10' setbacks from the south and
west property lines. The proposed deck will not meet the required 25' setback from
the edge of the access easement on the north. If this project is replacing a previously
existing deck, like -for -like, please provide documentation that the original deck was
legally permitted.

Please submit two copies of the updated site plan and two sets of any updated sheets of the
building plans. Please make all submittals to a Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday,
8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8:30 am to 12:00 pm only on Wednesdays). If you have any questions,
