SWIMMING POOL AT 8545 TALBOT ROAD
Dear Mr. Shavlovskiy,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, the following information needs to be clarified in a cover letter and
through submittal of updated plans with changes called out as appropriate:
1. Updated, critical area checklist: While the single family residence was permitted
under the old critical area ordinance, the proposed pool will be permitted under
the new code that was adopted in May 2016. Since the existing critical area
checklist is more than five years old (from 1999 — CRA19990308), an updated
determination is required. See Handout P20.
2. Geotechnical report: Since the critical areas code was updated, please provide a
geotech report in accordance with ECDC 23.80.020 and 23.80.050, addressing the
applicable development standards in Sections 23.80.060 and 23.80.070. Update
the setback and buffer shown on the Site Plan as appropriate based on the new
geotech report.
Please submit two copies of any updated plan sheets and reports. Make all submittals to a
Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8:30 am to 12:00 pm on
