Hi Ann -
Yes. I can look at that & make a determination by Wednesday, as well as get the CA issued. I have spoken w/ the
architect on this and has understands that though he can replace the foundation, this replacement may not result in
increasing the height of the house, even slightly. Also, he knows that he can not demolish & rebuild w/out the new

structure meeting setbacks and that any new addition will need to meet all setbacks. Thanks!

The contractors for the James residence came in and mentioned that you had spoken with their clients

previously on this project. This is a non -conforming house (at least by setback) and they want to do two
things:
1. Jack up the house, remove the existing masonry foundation and install a conventional concrete

2. Rebuild a small section ofthe house (I think it was at the back). This would include the

like to obtain a demolition permit ahead of time to jack up the house, remove the old foundation and
