As a follow-up to my letter dated March 14, 2003 you agreed to submit a new permit
application to complete the work at 416 Main Street. The deadline for permit submittal
was April 14 1h ; however, as of today the City has not received a pen -nit application.
Please submit a complete permit application and applicable permit fees by April 30,
2003. If there are circumstances beyond your control that will prevent you from
submitting by this deadline you must contact me in writing and provide an alternate date
of submittal.

As- you may recall from previous City correspondence, the permit application for the
subject project has expired. The purpose of this letter is to remind you that according to
City records the illegal construction work that was stopped under STOP WORK order
dated September 18, 2002, has never been permitted. Therefore, you are required to
obtain a permit to remove all illegal construction work by obtaining an interior
demolition permit (fee $55). Once the permit is issued the work must be complete within
60 days of permit issuance.
Please obtain the permit by April 14, 2003. If you have any questions please feel free to

The subject application was granted an extension and no additional extensions may
therefore be granted.
Corrections were sent on September 19, 2001 by the Building Plans Examiner and a
request for additional information was sent by the Snohomish County Health District on
January 16, 2002, neither of which has been responded to. If you wish to continue with
this project please be advised that the permit application expires on August 27, 2002 and
we cannot move forward with the plan review until the corrections have been responded
to and requested information has been submitted. If you have decided to withdraw from
the project please notify the Building Official in writing prior to the expiration of the
permit application.
Once the permit application expires, the application materials and plans will be destroyed
within ten working days. Also, if the project is pursued in the future a new permit
application and new fees will be required.
