To whom it may concern:
We are writing to inform you that your City of Edmonds Building Permit for the Drive-Thru and
Remodel of the Rite Aid store at 22515 Highway 99 will expire on January 20"', 2005. In order
to receive a Certificate of Occupancy the pen -nit must pass all final inspections by the required
remaining departments prior to January 20"', 2005. If additional time is needed the permit may
be renewed prior to the expiration date at the cost of $780.00 to extend the pen -nit expiration to
July 20'1', 2005. If you.fail to renew the pennit and/or obtain all of the final inspection approvals
necessary prior to the expiration date a new permit will be required with new fees in the amount
of $1,575.
To obtain the final inspections a set of the approved plans must be on site for the inspectors. All
items written in the enclosed Engineering Department Corrections dated December 10"', 2004
must be complied with and completed prior to calling for the Engineering Final inspection.
Planning Department, Fire Department and Building Department Final inspections are required
prior to the expiration of the pennit as well.

According to Building Division records the subject project has recently received the sheetrock
nailing inspection approval. The remaining inspections required are noted on the fieldjob card
and include final inspections by Fire, Engineering, Planning and lastly Building. Please be
advised, the subject building permit will expire on January 20, 2005, prior to this date you must
have final project approval from the above noted Departments or you must renew the permit. If
you are certain that the work will not be complete prior to this date you must submit a new
application and permit fees of $780 (one half the original building permit fee) before January 20,
2005. If the pen -nit expires, full fees of $1,560 shall be required in order to complete the project.
If you are certain the building will be complete before the permit expires be sure that the all other
City Departments have granted final project approval before contacting the Building Inspector
for the final occupancy inspection.
