Dear Mr. Khami:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that a Stop Work Order was posted on the
subject property on September 2, 2004 for a noted setback violation based on the Russel
D. Coffelt, PLS survey dated September 1, 2004. According to this survey, the northwest
comer of the building is 6 feet 8 inches from the north property line and the minimum
required setback is 7 feet 6 inches.
In order to assure site safety, avoid vagrants and to reduce the impact of an attractive
nuisance situation for children, the property shall be immediately fenced with a 6 foot
minimum construction fence until this matter is resolved by meeting all applicable codes.

The Planning Division has inforined my office that your Lot Line Adjustment has been
approved. In order for the City Building Inspector to perform a setback/ foot i ng
inspection please submit a scaled plot plan showing the new lot lines and new setback
distances. The City will expedite a review of this new plan. Submit directly to the
Permit Coordinator for the project, Marie Harrison.
Once the plan is approved and the house is placed on the foundation wall the construction
fence that was required to protect the attractive nuisance may be removed.
