We evaluated the soils at multiple locations around the perimeter of the house. In all locations

except at the northeast comer of the house suitable bearing was encountered within 18 inches of

existing grade. At the noi -theast corner bearing soils were encountered at a depth of 24 to M
inches near the house but shallow ed quickly towards the east.

We also evaluated the soils in 3 locations within the house footprint. This ,vas accomplished
through openings that had been precut through the floor in the family room.� living room and a

closet within the bedroom along the west central portion of the house.

Although only veiv small exposures of the bearing soils could be seen, based on visual
evaluation and probing ess steel soils probe the bearing soils appeared to be glacially

consolidated and consisted of silty sand with -gravel reminiscent of glacial till. Nearby cut Slopes
(approximately 2 bloc ks to the south near the Perrinville Market) are near vertical and have been
standing, unsupported.. for decades.

The ambient air temperature was (5-5 degrees at the time of my arrival, 10 AM, The
epoxy selected can be used above 40 deoreco. The expiration date of the epoxy was
:1/4" holes
prior to were
10/06. The epoxy anchor holes had been drilled my arrival.. The
wire brushed and blown out with compressed air until no dust was noted.

The epoxy beirlo used was Epoxy -Tic ET-22, the twin tube type, which mixes in the nozzle

with baffles. Epoxy was injected into the holes ouc h that the holes were completely filled

when the all thread rods were installed. All tension rods in the above. noted ohcarwalls

were installed durine my visit,
it is the opinion of the underoioned engineer that the epoxy installation is correct per
