Dear Mr. Frost:
The purpose of this letter is to follow-up on the City postcard sent to you on June 9, 2006 that
informed you that your building permit would expire on July 17, 2006 and that final inspection
approval by the City would be required. A drive by inspection performed this week revealed that

the landings are not complete and unfortunately, the building pe it has now expired.
hi order to resolve this issue, the City shall require that you complete the permitted work and
schedule for a final inspection by August 22, 2006. Failure to complete the work by this
deadline shall result in the issuance of an Order to Correct Violation Notice, the first step in the
City's Civil Penalties process whereby fines may be assessed in order to resolve this matter and
the City shall require a new permit to complete the work with all new permit fees. If there are
circumstances beyond your control that will prevent you from completing the work by this
deadline please immediately inform my office in writing and provide an alternate completion
date.
