During review of the subject submittal it was found that the following information, corrections, or

C9– SANITARY SEWER & WATER DETAILS

RETAINING WALL – 6/13/06
1. A copy of your letter dated 5/23/06 has been included with the permit file. This letter states a separate
permit is not required as the height of the proposed wall does not exceed 4 feet, as depicted on civil sheet
C4.
A revised sheet A1.1 is required to consistently show the height of the wall throughout the plan sets.
Currently, the detail provided on Sheet A1.2 states the wall height is to be 5’ max. This same detail was
also provided with your clarification letter dated 5/23/06.
I have outlined for you some background to the conversations/correspondence requesting such.
5/23/06 – Dave Gebert provided staff with the decision made re: the retaining wall and
o
whether or not a permit would be required. He stated that you were to clarify in writing and
that the Building Division may want you to revise (or redline) the architectural site plan.
5/25/06 – Theresa Umbaugh sent you an e-mail requesting you to redline sheet A1.1 to be
o
consistent with the civils or provide three new copies for review.
5/25/06 - An e-mail was received from you stating the civils show the height of the wall
o
correctly and the architecturals do not. You also stated the height of the wall does not impact
planning review criteria and, if interpreted correctly, would not be submitting a revised A1.1.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
