During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following infonnation,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items to a
Permit Coordinator.
1) Specify how deck will slope minimum 2% and where it slopes to (i.e. cricket). Provide section
detail though this area.
2) Provide framing plan for lower deck to verify how all loads are being carried to bearing.
3) Engineer of Record to provide calculations to justify that the existing footings are adequate to
carry additional loads (see attached field report from Geotech Consultants, Inc from original
house construction 1997-2000 psf soil bearing).
4) Note on plan says hangers by Engineer and nothing is specified in the calculations. Engineer of
Record to specify hangers as well as minimum structural member supporting hanger within the
extenor wall.
