Project: Niebrand Add/Remodel
Project Address: 18909 Olympic View Dr.
During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items to a
Permit Coordinator.
1) Clarify notes on site plan to reflect actual proposed construction (i.e. existing deck to remain,
existing carport to be converted to...., and show specific locations).
2) Proposed plans do not meet conventional construction. Provide complete structural calculations
(gravity and lateral) stamped and signed by a Washington State Licensed Professional Engineer.
3) Minimum conventional ledger lag bolt size and spacing is 3/8" x 4 %2" at 3" o.c. Revise plans to
meet minimum or provide calculations from Structural Engineer to justify size and spacing
shown on the plans.
4) Specify proposed used of space for new enclosed area (i.e. entry, foyer, living room, etc.).
5) Specify if this area will be heated. If so show all insulation values on the plans (R-10 slab, R-30
floor, R-21 wall, R-38 ceiling).
