Please respond in writing to each of the comments below, including where the changes can be found on the plans. Please resubmit 2 sets of revised plans/talcs to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator. 1. Update Sheet Al2 to clearly show the new cantilevered retaining wall. Provide structural calculations for the design. 2. Revise G:A17 references on floor plans and structural plans to match the extent of the detail. The detail shows a section only through the stair area not from outside of building walls. 3. Provide revised structural talcs for structural changes to plans submitted 6/1/06. For example, the cantilevered retaining wall, beam calculations, justify footing sizes (all have been reduced in size from the last structural review), etc. 4. Coordinate/clarify stepped patio and stairs shown on A15 with that area shown on A7. 5. On S4 shearwall schedule (these were brought to your attention by our structural consultant on the previous structural review). a. Revise the sheathing thickness and size of anchor bolts (currently shows 0"). b. Note #2, revise nail sizes. c. Note #3, revise plate washer thickness d. Note #4 and Detail B, remove reference to double studs nailed together unless talcs submitted to justify. 6. See attached letters dated 619106 from Building Official regarding Alternate Designs for Bamboo Siding and Green Roof 7. Respond to Building plan review comments dated Tune 2, 2006.
