The following comments, deficiencies/corrections must be addressed prior to completion of plans review and subsequent issuance of permits. Provide revised plans and calculations along with a written response to each of the items listed below to facilitate a shorter back -check time. SCOPE OF REVIEW The scope of this review is for the structural only requirements of this project. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. Orisinal comment will be written in italic if not addressed appropriately or unable to verify how the drawin s were mothied to meet the code. EOR please specify on the drawing the required post to beam connection and post base for the columns. Not all location are called out on the drawings. This should be added to the drawings to complete the load path. 2. 14. EOR please specifies the beam required to support the stair stringers. IBC 106.1 The beam is specified but not the required post on each end or the required beam to post connection. Please add this when resubmitting. Sheet Al2 Details 3. Detail 11: The design assumes the compression flange of the wide flange will be continuous braced but the details do not show how the joist will be attached. Please add the required connections to the drawings. This still has not been addressed on the drawings. Please add this information or modify design for un - braced length the full length. 4. 22. Please add shear wall schedule to clearly note what is required in the details shown on this sheet. This shall include the EN, SN, BE, FA, BN, FNrequirements. IBC 106.1 This still has not been addressed on the drawings. Shear wall schedule does not match details as required. Additional corrections may be required following receipt of corrections and additional information as requested. Your plans are being reviewed concurrently with the Building Department, Fire Department, Zoning Department and Public Works Engineering. Changes, clarifications or additional corrections may be required subsequent to the Building Department plan review when comments are received from the other concerned departments.
