During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.
1) Site plan from 2005 grading permit shows block wall around existing out building, a walkway
between the structures and different topography. Add all additional information to the plans in
order to provide a ince and accurate plot plan.
2) On the site plan specify use of new building. Plan currently says new attached building. Please
revise to state use of building (i.e. proposed attached garage with shop above). Also on the
reduce copy the labeled breezeway is not legible.
3) For the datum point specify what part of the utility pole specifically is the datum point (i.e. base,
nail, etc.).
4) Specify all uses of space on the floor plans (i.e. garage, shop, storage, etc.).
5) Depending on use of space for second story note fire separation on plans. Minimum 518" type X
on the ceiling and minimum 20 minute rated or 1 3/8" solid core door.
6) Provide complete framing/foundation plans for proposed breezeway connecting the proposed
garage to the existing carport.
7) Shearwall and Holdown schedules on sheet A-05 are not legible. Please provide revised legible
sheets.
8) Details on sheet A-03 are labeled different than what is called out on the plans (i.e. 3/A-04 is
referenced on the plans as 3/A-03. Please coordinate details with plan callouts.
9) Provide structural calculations for proposed retaining wall and reference detail location on the
plans. If this detail does not apply to this project please cross out as well as any other details that
do not apply to this project.
