1) The building inspector wrote a correction stating that the egress window in the bonus room
has a sill height greater than 44". If lowering the window to 44" is not possible because of the
lower roof location provide a written request for modification addressed to the Building
Official (Jeannine Grafi stating why it is not possible to meet the minimill" 44" sill height
required by IRC R3.10 and propose an alternative (i.e. permanent step). This letter must be
submitted to the City and approved prior to final approval of your building permit.
