Dear Ms. Hanson,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the
following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue:
Height Calculations/Topography:
1. Thank you for meeting with us today to go over the height
calculations. The house plans are at the 25 foot height limit, so special attention is taken when
reviewing the height calculations submitted. As we discussed, points A and B on the site plan look
fine. Points D and C, however, do not entirely match our idea of the topography. When I compared
the contours and elevations shown on the site plan to the City’s LIDAR data (approximate 2-foot
contours), point C appears to be a few feet lower than point A, while the height calculations provided
show point C about a foot higher than point A. Note that height is measured from average original
grade. Please re-review the site plan and revise the site plan and height calculations/topography
contours (and revise plans) accordingly.

(affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to
the Development Services Permit Coordinator (Theresa Umbaugh) Monday through Friday, 9am to noon
