The subject application has been reviewed but cannot be completed until the following items have been
addressed/corrected. Please resubmit 3 sets of revised drawings to a Development Services Permit
Coordinator.
1. Reference sheet P3 for the length of storm pipe run between cb 3 and cb 4.
2. Suggest establishing new datum point. Water meter box will most likely be removed or damaged during
construction.
3. Place a type 1 cb in the curb line and provide invert and rim elevations. Move cb 3 out to insure at least 2' of
clearance between cb boxes.
4. Add a note to remove the old driveway cut.
5. Show mail box location and additional sidewalk per the City detail on mailbox installation.
6. Footing and rockery/ wall drains cannot connect to the detention system. Show connection to the out flow side of
the control structure.
7. Based on information provided the total cut is 284 cy.
8. Add ext 1326 to end of phone number — note 1 of construction sequence. Also add "call 24 hours in advance for
all inspections."
9. Change note on alley overlay from `as needed' to " as determined by the City Inspector.
10. Branch domestic and fire line, put dbl check on fire line or loop the system.
11. Label new contour elevations.
12. Geo -Tech report indicates temp shoring along alley. Show temp shoring on drawing. Provide cross section of
shoring.
13. Geo -Tech re orts p to 7' of cut but the drawing does not indicate that much cut. Please clarify.

14. Sections A and B are missing from the drawing.
15. Driveway slope on south side is 15.7% from property line to building
16. System profile:
a) Based on invert elevations the slope of detention pipe is 2.5%. Change slope and inverts accordingly.
b) Invert location of 4" pipe from control structure is lower than the detention pipe and based on invert
elevations the slope is 2.7% and not 2 as shown. Adjust accordingly.
c) Add the additional catch basin with inverts to the profile.
d) The pipe size shown between cb 3 and 4 does not reflect 12". Change accordingly. Also, due to the lack
of adequate cover for 12" pvc, the line will need to be ductile iron.
SHEET P3
17. Add the orifice size to cb #2
18. The invert elevation of the existing storm manhole at Oh and Glen appears to be incorrect. It indicates the
manhole drains to the existing cb at the curb. Verify invert elevation.
19. Change the 4" storm pipe to 12".
20. Since there is less than 2' of cover for the 12" pvc storm pipe, ductile iron will have to be used.
21. CMP is no longer allowed in the city right-of-way.
22. Indicate the invert elevation of the 12" storm pipe N. at the existing ch.
23. The slope of the storm pipe does not match that on the profile on sheet P2.
24. The water main location differs between sheet P2 and P3 and the survey done by LSA. Confirm correct location
and move location of the water line accordingly.
25. Indicate the distance of the storm pipe from the curb line.
26. The alley cannot be blocked off except when paving occurs. Indicate restriction on the drawing.
27. Need traffic control plan for the installation of the storm pipe along Glen St and at 6`I' Ave.
28. If alley will be closed for paving, change contruction ahead to "alley closed". Sign should be placed at 6th Ave
and at 7"'.
General
29. Will staging area be on site? Will there be any parking or alley disruption for other than the construction of the
storm line, new sidewalk and paving the alley beyond the 72 hour grace period?
