Senior Planner Meg Gruwell had reviewed this application and had requested that you show how this project meets the height requirements for the zone. There is a height moratorium in place, and the maximum height is 25 feet with no exceptions. Please review the attached handout on how to calculate height and show on both the (1) site plan and (2) the elevations: the Average Grade, the Maximum Height, and the proposed Actual Height of the area you are bumping up, and please make sure it does not exceed 25 feet. I just need to verify that the parapet is under the 25 foot height limit as required by code (unless a variance is first approved – if you would like information on the variance process, please don’t hesitate to ask). 01.29.07 – Thank you for responding in writing. Your letter states that you are below the height limit. st Please show this on the elevations. I look forward to meeting with you on Thursday, February 1 in nd the Kerr Room (2 Floor City Hall) at 1:30 to go over this planning item and to answer any questions that you may have. Thank you for your cooperation. Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the Development Services Permit Coordinator (Theresa Umbaugh) Monday through Friday, 9am to noon or 1pm to 4pm. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (425) 771-0220, extension 1778. I look forward to working with you on this project. Sincerely, CITY OF EDMONDS Gina Coccia, Planner Page 1 of 1
