"B" - Site photos w/ reference site plan, 5 pages
Dear Gina,
This letter is regarding plan review comments for the above referenced project. As stated
on the approved permit set of plans "Pursuant to ECDC 20.10.070.A.3, mechanical
equipment shall be screened from view (or paint to match bidg color)."
I am requesting that this requirement be waived, or possibly addressed after the rooftop
mechanical unit is installed, due to the limited visibility from the surrounding properties.
As shown on the attached photos taken from 236th St. S.W. looking in at the school J
building, the natural tree buffer as well as the site topography greatly reduces visibility of
rooftop units. The proposed mechanical unit location will not impede views or attract
attention to the school.
I appreciate your consideration of this request and look forward in working together to
resolve this issue,
Sincerely,
CITY COPY
