Dear Applicant,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the
following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue:
Rockery:
1. Please show topographical contours on the Plot Plan so that the height of the rockery can
be verified. Please be aware that rockeries over three feet in height, as measured from to top of the
rock to original grade, cannot be located in the setback area. If this is the case
Deck:
2. The site plan shows a deck. Please add the deck to the elevations as well to make them
consistent. What is the height of the deck? If it is over three feet from original grade, then it needs to
be included in your lot coverage calculations (please revise lot coverage calculations, if applicable).
Is the deck covered? If so, it needs to be included in the height rectangle (please revise height
calculations, if applicable).
Building Footprint:
3. The building footprint on the site plan does not match the plans. Please revise
to make them consistent – show all bump-outs and projecting modulation on the site plan, including
fireplaces and bay windows. Also, it looks like the site plan and elevations may be reversed? Please
make them consistent.

(affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to
the Development Services Permit Coordinator (Theresa Umbaugh) Monday through Friday, 9am to noon
