The 60% submittal has been and the following items need to be incorporated into the drawings and
specs.
Sheet C1.0
1.Demolition note #8: Add “ Call the engineering inspection line (425-771-0220 ext 1326) for the septic
tank abatement inspection.
2.Add a note to refrer to the specifications for the City of Edmonds Standard Details on temporary
construction entrance and erosion control fencing.
3.Add a note to remove the septic tank distribution box.
4.The existing cb at the north end of the site indicates a storm line heading west and is identified to be
removed. Where does that storm line go and connect to?
5.Sheet c2.0 indicates cold water main running parallel to the easterly sidewalk but does not show up on c
1.0 nor is it identified to be removed or abandoned. Please specify what is to be done with the line.
6.The water service at the south east corner of the site needs to be removed to the valve in the street.
Amend the note accordingly.
7.The water services on the n.e. side of the building need to be capped and turned off at the corp.

8.Add the 6” fire hydrant and line to the drawing.
9.The water service location at the south east corner of the site does not match that on C1.0.

10. Add erosion fence along the north side of the site.
11.The ESC notes must be verbatim from Chapter 18.30.050 and since the site is more than an acre, all 17
points must be listed.
12.Show sedimentation ponds on the drawing.
Specifications
13.Section 02220-4 (3.2 I): What precautions will be taken to prevent contaminates from getting into the
storm system?
14.Section 02220-6 (3.10 A): Add “ refer to City of Edmonds Section 2 of the modifications to the standard
specs.”
15.Section 02300-2 (1.6 A): Add “ and the City of Edmonds modifications to the standard specs.”
16.Section 02300-6 (3.3 A): Add sub point #5: “Exposed soils shall be covered within 7 day between May 1
and October 1 and 2 days between Oct 1 and April 30.”
17.Section 02300-6 (3.3 C.3): change 35 to 2%.
18.Section 02300-7 (3.3 D.2): Specify duration and dates for exposed soils (see comment 16 above).
19.Section 02321-2 (1.5 B): Change 50 to 60.
20.Section 02321-3 (2.1 F): Specify that CDF shall be ¾ sack mix per WSDOT standards.
21.Section 02321-5 (3.3 A.3): Change Snohomish County to City of Edmonds.
22.Section 02321-8 (3.3 I.2): delete “within 2 foot of finish grade and 90 percent below this level”
23.Section 02321-9 (3.3 J.1): Specify WSDOT standard ¾ sack mix.
24.Section 02900-3 (2.3 B.1): the 5 pound/ 1000 sf does not match the lawn rate (2.5 A) of 8 pounds/1000
sf. Are they suppose to be the same?
25.Seciton 02900-3 (2.5A): Change perennial rye percentage to 60%; change fine fescue to Reed fescue
(Illhaee, Rainer or Pennlawn) and its percentage to 40%.
