Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a Permit Coordinator. 1) Show size and location of crawlspace access. 2) R403.1.3 requires all vertical rebar to have a standard hook. Revise all foundation details to reflect. 3) Specify on the elevation views the grade slope away from the building. If minimum 6" within 10' is not possible or habitable or useable space is below grade, foundation drainage is required. Provide footing drain detail on foundation sections complying with R405.1 and show required drain locations on the foundation plan. 4) Proposed fireplace must be direct vent since it is located in a sleeping room. Please note on plans. 5) Provide complete roof framing plan showing all existing and proposed framing. 6) . Since the carport is being enclosed into habitable space it must meet the location on lot requirements of R302. On the site plan please show imaginary property line between the garage and house used to determine fire separation distance. if either structures are closer than 3' to this line they must have not less than a 1 -hr fire -resistive rating with exposure from both sides and no openings shall be permitted in that wall. Please provide listed and tested 1 -hr wall assembly. 7) Special inspections are required for the following.
