During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline pians or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.

12/18/06 Details on sheet S2 still need. R403.1.3 requires all vertical rebar to have a standard
hook. Revise all foundation details to reflect.

12/18/06 Still need line used to determine fire separation distance drawn on site plan and
show garage and carport eave dimensions. Also now that the door is being removed specify
what will happen in area showing stairs. Since the carport is being enclosed into habitable
space it must meet the location on lot requirements of R302. On the site plan please show
imaginary property line between the garage and house used to determine fire separation distance.
1f either structures are closer than 3' to this line they must have not less than a 1 -hr fire -resistive
rating with exposure from both sides and no openings shall be permitted in that wall. Please
provide listed and tested 1 -hr wall assembly.
12/18/06 Still NeedSpecial inspections are required for the following. Complete the enclosed
special inspection agreement signed by the owner, the general contractor and the special
inspector and submit to the City for approval prior to issuance.
