Please consider the following: 5/24/07 – I received an e-mail from you 5/11/07 stating the locators determined sewer & water were o separated by 47” horizontally. The plans however do not reflect this information. The plans still show the water and sewer mains crossing each other just south of the proposed manhole location. The plans need to be revised to provide an accurate representation of the utilities. 2.- 3.Previous comment 5/7/07: If any portion of the existing sanitary sewer is proposed to continue under the sidewalk, along the west side of the building, a special agreement will be required to allow for this and to make private ownership clear. If there is an existing agreement for the existing sewer please provide a copy with your resubmittal. 5/24/07 – An agreement has not been submitted. o 4.5/24/07 – Utility section “A” provides a section view of the new sewer lateral and the new manhole. An elevation of 50.8 was provided to me via e-mail 5/23/07 for the invert of the lateral at the manhole. It was also stated in the e-mail that the sewer would be 8’ deep. The scale provided for this section does not appear to be accurate, at least not vertically. o The section shall show the required channeling in the manhole, state the size of manhole to be used, o show the location of the required ladder and provide a RIM elevation. Utilizie City standard detail E6.1 or reference and incorporate detail into plan set. o 5.5/24/07 – Indicate type of sewer pipe to be used and show location of required cleanouts. 6.5/24/07 – With regards to abandoning the old sewer line – add to the note that requires it to be plugged at the manhole, that it shall also be capped in the sidewalk near the northwest corner of the building. Concrete pavers at the intersection shall not be disturbed. DATE E-MAILED 5/24/07 PAGE 1 of 2 7.5/24/07 – Remove the note that states “sewer specs to be determined w/ final design” or clarify the intent of this note. Sewer specs shall be identified in this plan set. th 8.5/24/07 - A water line from the new bathroom is shown to tie into the water main in 5 Ave S. Please provide clarification as to why the water supply to the bathrooms cannot be provided through an interior plumbing connection. If a separate domestic water service is needed for the new space (Old Milltown) it shall be reviewed in conjunction with the main building permit. 9.5/24/07 – Please clarify the note “see eng 20070076 ROW permit for pedestrian traffic and tunnel detail. It is my understanding that the pedestrian tunnel will no longer be placed. The City has approved installation of the tunnel under the ROW permit, but if the intent is not to install it then this note should be removed from the drawing and actual closure area should be clearly shown. Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Theresa Umbaugh is the Permit Coordinator assigned to your project.
