During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.
1)Site plan submitted is not legible (can’t read the numbers, hard to tell where the property lines
are, etc.). Please submit 3 new clear legible site plans scaled no smaller than 1”=20’ on no larger
than 8 ½” x 14” paper.
2)On the site plan show all bump outs (i.e. fireplace, covered porch, concrete landings/patios, both
trellis, etc.). All this information must be clearly labeled on the site plan.
3)Please choose alternate datum point. Concrete step is not a specific enough datum point.
4)In the description of work on the application form submitted it says there will be a new side and
rear yard fence. Please show on the site plan and specify height and material (i.e. 4’ cedar fence).
5)Specify on the elevation views the grade slope away from the building. If minimum 6” within 10’
is not possible or habitable or useable space is below grade, foundation drainage is required.
Provide footing drain detail on foundation sections complying with R405.1 and show required
drain locations on the foundation plan.
6)Provide calculations to justify that larger posts and/or footings are not required under the 3 ½” x
11 ¼” PSL 8’ garage door header.
7)Provide calculation to justify that a larger footing is not required under the post supporting that 5
1/8” x 18” GLB at the exterior wall side.
