Dear Applicant,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the following
information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue:
Site Plan:
1. Thank you for submitting a clear and to-scale site plan. Some of these items were left off of the last
submittal. Please clearly show the following items on the site plan (redlining these changes is ok).
Please show topography lines on the site plan. This is how we verify the height calculations, which are
based on average original grade. I have enclosed a map of the original topography lines that were
submitted with the subdivision for your convenience. When I overlaid these lines were on your site plan,
and compared it to where I estimated the height calculation points were located, they didn’t quite match up
with the figures submitted. Please re-check the height calculations and redline the following items:
Please add the height calculations to the site plan, including the smallest rectangle that will enclose all of
the building footprint, label the elevations of points A, B, C, and D, and the Average Grade, Actual
Ridgeline, and Maximum Height. Please make sure that these calculations are consistent with the figures
provided on the elevation views. You may need to update sheet 7 of 8 if these figures change from the last
submittal.
When I looked at sheet 5 of 8, it still looked as if the northwestern trellis post was further north than the
building line, which is on or very near the setback line. Please show these trellis points (as dots) on the site
plan so we can verify that they do indeed remain out of the 7.5’ northern side setback and out of the 25’
western street setback.
Thank you for your cooperation. Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected
sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the Development
Services Permit Coordinator (JoAnne Zulauf ) Monday through Friday, 9am to noon or 1pm to 4pm. If you have
