Please show that the new entrance sign has 12 square feet of landscaping at the base of the sign (which is twice the sign area), pursuant to ECDC 20.60.045.G.1 (sheet 2 of 4 and sheet “A” site plan). Your other option is to move this proposed sign out further west into an existing landscaping bed (but I assume that defeats the purpose of the ‘entry’ sign?). Redlining your existing plans to show the new landscape bed is acceptable. Thank you for your cooperation. Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the Development Services Permit Coordinator (Theresa Umbaugh) Monday through Friday, 9am to noon or 1pm to 4pm.
