Dear Applicant,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the
following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue:
Parking:
1. FYI only… Based on the building area (1,835 square feet) and the proposed office use, the
minimum number of off-street parking stalls required is 5 (4.6). Please coordinate with the
Engineering Division to make sure that the stalls shown on the site plan meet the minimum parking
space dimensions.
Signage:
2. The site plan indicates a freestanding sign. Is this a new sign? If so, please contact a
Permit Coordinator regarding commercial sign permit submittal requirements. The planning division
reviews signs based on the standards given in Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC)
Chapter 20.60. I would be happy to go over the sign code with you. If this is an existing sign, please
indicate on the site plan if it is to be removed (redline okay).

(affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to
the Development Services Permit Coordinator (Theresa Umbaugh) Monday through Friday, 9am to noon
