During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.
1) Please specify if existing chain link fence is 6' high. Also, most chain link fences have
openings greater than 2': Please specify if slats are installed or will he installed in the
existing fence to meet the pool fence requirements. Gates also must be self-closing and
self -latching. Please note on plans. As required by Edmonds Community Development
Code Chapter 19.00.005(C)(7), the pool area must be completely surrounded by a substantial
fence at least six (6) feet in height. No openings in the fence or gate shall be greater than
two (2) inches and a self-closing, self -latching gate must be provided with an inside lock
inaccessible to children. If 5' fence is proposed along the West property line please show
extent of pool fencing in order to meet the above City code. Also, specify if existing or
proposed.
